We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Architect to provide strategic architectural leadership across a complex IT estate. This role will align technology strategy, investment planning and solution design with enterprise objectives - ensuring scalable, cost-effective and future-ready architecture.
Reporting to the Head of Architecture & Strategy, you will shape the enterprise architecture roadmap, guide financially informed technology decisions and ensure initiatives deliver clear business value while meeting governance and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the enterprise architecture roadmap
- Align technology investment with financial planning and long-term strategy
- Develop and assess financial models (TCO, ROI, forecasting)
- Support governance, design assurance and prioritisation decisions
- Guide cloud, data and legacy modernisation strategies
- Provide clear recommendations balancing cost, risk and value
What We Are Looking For
- Strong enterprise architecture / portfolio architecture experience within complex environments
- Deep knowledge of cloud, integration and data architectures
- Experience in financial modelling and working with Finance teams
- Ability to communicate complex technical and commercial trade-offs to senior stakeholders
- TOGAF/BCS certification desirable
