Global Head of Alliance (Based in the UK or US)

  • The primary goal of the role is to drive significant revenue growth through strategic partnerships, aiming to increase the current revenue from $50 million to a target of $300 million annually.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Senior Engagement :
  • Engage with senior executives at major tech companies such as Google, AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, and OpenAI. The role requires building and maintaining relationships at the highest levels within these organizations to leverage partnerships effectively.

Ecosystem Management :

  • Run and leverage a partner ecosystem, focusing on strategic alliances. This includes developing and executing plans to maximize the potential of these partnerships and drive opportunities and revenue into the business.

Leadership :

  • Lead a team to develop and execute strategic plans against key partners. The role involves inspiring the business to fully embrace partnerships and see their value, which is crucial for achieving the revenue targets.

Global Focus :

  • The role has a global focus, and while candidates can be based in various locations, there is a strong preference for those based in the UK/US to enhance leadership coverage. This is due to the need for more global representation within the leadership team.

Preferred Background :

  • Industry Experience :
  • Candidates should ideally come from integrators or consultancy firms that work with hyperscalers. This background ensures they understand what it takes to maximize these partnerships and have likely worked across multiple major tech companies.
  • Track Record :
  • The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering a high percentage of revenue through the partner channel, demonstrating their ability to drive growth and manage strategic alliances effectively.
  • Team Management :
  • Current Team :
  • The role involves managing a team of approximately half a dozen people. The new leader will need to assess whether the current team is fit for purpose and focused on the right objectives to achieve the ambitious revenue targets.
  • Team Development :
  • The leader will be responsible for developing the team, ensuring they are aligned with the strategic goals, and driving the necessary focus and concentration to win and expand partnerships.

Presence and Influence :

  • The candidate must have the gravitas and credibility to engage with global heads of alliances and inspire the rest of the business to follow suit. This includes having the ability to walk into a room and command attention and respect from senior executives.
