Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for numbers and a knack for turning data into actionable insights? We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team in the natural resources sector.

Location: London or Bristol (Hybrid)

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth organisation at a pivotal stage in its journey. With operations in sub-Saharan Africa and a recent acquisition of a major gold asset, the company is preparing for a significant relaunch and public listing.

As an FP&A Analyst, you will be at the heart of strategic financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape financial strategy, support investment decisions, and drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead financial modelling and scenario planning for long-term mine planning
  • Manage budgeting and rolling forecasts to support treasury and cash flow
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance reporting
  • Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and financial health
  • Partner with business units to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
  • Drive process improvements and leverage financial tools for efficiency
  • Support investment reviews and long-term strategic planning

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related role
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in the mining or natural resources sector is a plus
  • Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CFA) preferred
