At Ecovis, as a B CORP employer, our people are at the heart of everything we do. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our employees and managers throughout the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career, either in their first HR position or currently studying toward CIPD Level 3, who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a busy, friendly, and collaborative HR function.

Working closely with our Head of People & Engagement, you will help ensure our processes run smoothly, our systems (including BambooHR) are accurate and up to date, and our employees receive a consistent and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Support the recruitment process by posting job adverts, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communication.
    • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and new starter documentation.
    • Set up new employees on BambooHR, IT systems, and internal platforms.
    • Support the delivery of induction sessions and ensure new joiners have a smooth and welcoming start.
  • HR Administration & Systems
    • Maintain accurate employee records in BambooHR, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.
    • Prepare HR letters, probation documentation, and contractual changes.
    • Track key HR processes such as probation reviews, performance cycles, and training attendance.
    • Support the Head of HR and Partners with reporting, audits, and compliance tasks.
    • Prepare monthly payroll changes, including sickness, overtime, and contractual updates.
    • Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure payroll information is accurate and submitted on time.
    • Support the administration of benefits such as pensions, healthcare, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Employee Support & Communication
    • Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, providing clear and consistent guidance.
    • Signpost employees and managers to policies, processes, and resources.
    • Support low-level employee relations matters through note-taking, gathering information, and preparing documentation.
    • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environment.
  • Learning & Development
    • Coordinate internal and external training sessions, including scheduling and attendance tracking.
    • Maintain training records and support the development of training matrices.
    • Assist with firmwide initiatives such as wellbeing activities, policy updates, and culture projects.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong administrative or coordination experience (HR experience helpful but not essential).
  • Interest in developing a career in HR, ideally working towards CIPD Level 3.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive information.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Teams, Planner, Excel.
  • A proactive, supportive, and people-focused approach.
  • Experience using BambooHR or another HR software.
  • Understanding of basic HR processes or UK employment law principles.
  • Experience in a professional services environment.
