We are seeking a highly organised and detail-person to join our team, providing crucial support to our Ticketing Team, Commercial operations and the club as a whole. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This role requires a proactive individual who can work within a small team to help deliver an exceptional Matchday experience for all our supporters and will work with a range of areas within the club, including Matchday ticketing, away travel, Academy events, and community events.
This role is customer facing, helping supporters in a range of areas from buying tickets, booking coach travel and answering specific enquiries, while presenting a positive representation of Forest Green Rovers and the upholding ethos of the club.
For This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Would Be
- As part of a small team, helping to deliver day-to-day reception operations and administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Serve customers in a welcoming, positive and personable manner in
- Help manage key financial aspects around invoicing and purchase orders.
- Manage incoming enquiries via shared mailboxes, phone lines and in person
- To work closely with key areas of the club to create innovative ideas for the club as a whole
- Assisting the Ticket Office Manager and wider commercial team for the effective delivery of Matchday ticketing including key stakeholders like Directors, Hospitality guests, Player guests, Mascots and League officials.
- Work closely with the Ticket Office Manager to help drive attendances, revenue and engagement for every Matchday.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Use our ticketing system (VMS) to control all aspects of tickets, along with key Office software (Word, Excel, Teams).

The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have good communications skills and able to work within the small FGR Team
- Work off your own initiative, be creative and think outside the box
- Strong administrative and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and develop skills throughout employment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with supporters and colleagues.
- Capable of performing clerical duties including typing and data entry with high accuracy.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A knowledge or passion for football is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in using a variety of software for financial management would be desirable but not essential.
- Passion for supporting a culture that demonstrates the club’s commitment to sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, to cover Matchday fixtures and events.

- Opportunity for extensive formal and on the job training
- This role is subject to a background check and DBS check, prior to employment commencing.
- You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel & Teams
- A full driving license would be desirable.
- A high degree of flexibility is needed to work around the busy football calendar
