About The Role
Salary: £25,000 plus £3,500 up to 15% PRP
We are seeking a Sales Support Administrator to join our expanding business sales team. The role requires quick and accurate handling of information, data, and documentation, with a variety of responsibilities and the ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
The successful candidate will support Sales Account Managers by managing administrative tasks related to the sales process (pre and post sales), providing crucial support to the B2B Sales Team to facilitate departmental growth. This role suits highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individuals committed to supporting a high-performing sales environment.
This position offers diverse, challenging, and rewarding work, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and contract management.
- Prioritize and organize daily workflow with minimal supervision.
- Process sales requests accurately and promptly.
- Set up complex and technical gas and electricity quotes within tight deadlines and high accuracy.
- Create and validate gas and electricity quote documentation according to guidelines.
- Maintain and update customer records in CRM systems.
- Handle customer queries and direct them appropriately.
- Coordinate with internal departments like pricing and customer service.
- Support bid and tender submissions with necessary documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales administration processes.
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for Senior Managers.
- Provide ad-hoc support for internal and external queries and projects via email and phone.
- Adhere to internal processes and policies.
About You
Knowledge Required
- Understanding of the energy industry (desirable but not essential)
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP or similar CRM systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
