Are you our next National Account Executive responsible for creating growth in the Discount Channel and supporting on Tesco? We're looking for someone to join us in this exciting role supporting our Channel Controller and being part of a fantastic team who are passionate about our organic and natural brands Clipper Teas, Kallo and Mrs Crimble's. We're also the first and largest multinational food company to become B Corp whose passion is to play our part in being a force for good. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Account Planning & Account Development
- Prioritise key development opportunities to maximise sales and profitability
- Execute strategies and activation to deliver double-digit growth
- Successfully launch NPD
- Ensure greatest possible distribution
- Selling / Negotiation
- Fully engaged in the business planning cycle
- Understands and activates the key drivers of sales growth
- Drives distribution
- Liaising with the Category team uses powerful insights to craft a narrative to engage, persuade and inspire
- Full understanding of joint business planning process and ability to negotiate commercial terms (with the support of the Channel Controller, where applicable)
- Handles negotiations to realise growth opportunities
- Financial and Forecast Management
- P&L management, control and delivery: with support from the Channel Controller
- Ensures accurate volume and forecast accuracy following S&OP process: promotion, trade spend activity
- Manages day to day promotional activity & financial expenditure
- Account Management
- Develops customer relationships and understands customer strategy to align and be the respected partner of choice
- Understands customer operations and navigates successfully; using key levers of influence
- Analytical / Market Insights
- Develops recommendations/actions regarding accounts, using data from multiple sources (eg: IRI, Nielsen) identifying opportunities/risks
- Communication
- Documents recommendations and solutions to issues and proposals. Formulates and executes a collaborative strategy
- Understanding of digital environment and customer requirements to develop appropriate plan of action
- Build effective working relationships with internal colleagues across multi-functions
