We are looking for a Brand Manager for Kallo. You’ll be responsible for supporting the implementation of marketing strategy and tactics to drive long-term sustainable growth (sales & profit) and develop and project manage innovation/renovation in line with the Kallo pipeline. Our ideal candidate will have brand manager level experience in FMCG, good digital marketing skills; experience leading a product launch and P&Ls, the importance of brand USP; be able to interpret data and build category stories along with good commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support Kallo with the development, implementation and execution of brand plan (to include consumer insight, shopper behaviour, customer insight, analysis, pricing, promotional activity etc).
- Responsible for the development and management of new product development (innovation and renovation) from ideation through concept and launch through to in-store execution and post launch analysis.
- Collect, compile, verify and analyse data on market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
- Understand the shopper, their behaviours and develop activities for the brand to win new consumers by working with the commercial team.
- Use consumer insight to inform production development: communications and influencer programmes.
- Project manage all aspects of the Innovation Board critical path, working closely with all stakeholders (internal + external) to deliver top quality innovation on time.
- Calculate P&L’s, brand profitability and other key metrics for each category and innovation.
- Use data sources including IRI / Kantar etc, develop trends and present arguments to retailers on our portfolio building a compelling selling narrative.
- Trade presentations – Competent in building and presenting to retailers for sell ins.
- Comms – supporting the controller on comms across all brand categories.
- Manage best in class Ecomm content, including but not exclusive A+ content, images and website to ensure optimised look with an ‘always on’ mindset.
- Administer and maintain the relevant A & P budgets liaising with various Ecotone departments: raising PO’s, monthly reconciliations.
- Brand Bank – update and ongoing management.
