We are seeking a reliable and experienced Second Man for Deliveries to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will assist in the safe and efficient delivery of goods, ensuring timely service to our clients. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
Duties
- Assist the primary driver in delivering goods to various locations, ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Help with loading and unloading items, often involving heavy lifting, in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Communicate effectively with the driver, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
