We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5t Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the dispatch team
- Handle customer interactions professionally, providing excellent service during deliveries
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with 3.5t vans or similar vehicles
- Valid driving licence suitable for driver role
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, but not essential
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods and securing loads safely
