We are a fast-growing, high-performance commercial cleaning and facilities services business delivering exceptional service to major clients across the UK. We are now looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead our growth strategy, build a high-performing sales function, and drive new business wins across key sectors. This is a senior leadership role, suited to a proven sales leader who can combine strategic direction with hands-on execution, and who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the company’s new business growth strategy
  • Lead and manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to contract signature
  • Build, mentor and performance-manage a team of Business Development Managers / Sales Executives
  • Develop a structured, repeatable sales process with strong CRM discipline
  • Win and retain strategic, high-value contracts (regional and national)
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure smooth mobilisation and long-term client satisfaction
  • Identify new markets, sectors, partnerships and revenue streams
  • Represent the business at client meetings, presentations, tenders and industry events
  • Drive pricing strategy, proposal quality, and commercial negotiation

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record as a Sales Director / Head of Sales / Senior BD in B2B services
  • Strong experience in commercial cleaning, FM, soft services, security, waste, or related sectors
  • Demonstrable success winning large contracts and framework agreements
  • Excellent tender and bid leadership capability (PQQ, ITT, presentations)
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build a team, set standards, and deliver results through others
  • High energy, resilience, and a professional client-facing style
