Ecorobotix SA creates innovative robotic solutions that reduce the negative ecological impact of modern agriculture. We have developed an AI-based ultra-high-precision spot-spraying technology that significantly reduces the amount of chemicals used in crop fields while keeping costs competitive. The technology is currently deployed on our tractor-towed ARA machine.
General objective of the role: Ecorobotix is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our Commercial Equipment team as Area Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and meeting profit targets by effectively managing relationships with Golf Course Superintendents, Sports Turf Managers, General Managers, and key accounts in the commercial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent communication with present customers and visit them to secure orders.
- Lead and support Ecorobotix’s dealer network, and take part in their training.
- Suggest improvements for our partner network.
- Develop commercial actions to solve business problems.
- Manage order processes, sales pipelines and forecasts for your region.
- Estimate the creditworthiness of customers, transmit price lists and conditions, and suggest improvements of the price list.
- Participate in regional trade shows and customer demonstrations, operate our machines during demonstrations.
- Help our marketing team in generating new content.
- Take an active part, in close collaboration with our product managers, in product strategy and management, like mapping, contacting and following up with the competent authorities for product approval, freedom to operate and the allocation of grants.
- Validate use cases based on field information.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in sales and/or agronomy, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
Experience / Technical Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in selling or consulting hardware devices.
- Agronomic knowledge related to weed control and phytos is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, willingness to build relationships with clients.
- High degree of independence, reliability and initiative.
- Dedicated individuals with systematic, goal-oriented ways of working.
- Ability to manage projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with clear and consistent communication.
- Ability to influence without authority.
- Rigorous, pragmatic and endowed with strong empathy.
- Dynamism, autonomy, curiosity and team spirit.
