The Opportunity As the UK Marketing Manager, you’ll be the go-to lead for the UK Marketing tactics, supporting & delivering the overarching marketing strategy for our expansion into the UK and Europe. You’ll use your passion and creativity in creating & executing end-to-end campaigns and activities to curate & drive success throughout the country. From grassroots community-building to content amplification, multi-channel marketing strategies and more, you’ll lead, manage, and inspire our colleagues & prospects to engage and choose ecoPortal. Your primary focus areas will be to generate awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth. By connecting local insights with global marketing objectives, you will ensure that ecoPortal’s brand, thought leadership, and customer community resonate strongly across the region.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (with a dotted line to the Country Manager UK), you’ll work closely with the internal Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to champion the brand and create compelling, memorable experiences for our customers. Whether it’s creating a social experience at a Trade show, or refining personas in support of targeted outbound campaigns, you will play a vital role in championing why ecoPortal is the world’s best choice for solving complex, Enterprise level H&S challenges. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, with a creative team that isn’t afraid to be bold; you’ll combine your excellent project management skills and customer-first mindset to deliver high quality, scalable outputs that engage, inspire, and empower customers for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Marketing Strategy & Planning: Create UK marketing plans and personas aligned with global goals to drive engagement and conversion across key regional markets.
  • Events & Community Engagement: Manage the UK event calendar, logistics, and partnerships while providing on-site support and actionable performance debriefs.
  • Content & Campaign Collaboration: Co-create UK-specific content, webinars, and case studies while ensuring consistent branding across all marketing channels.
  • Performance & Analytics: Track ROI and lead gen while monitoring market trends and conducting win/loss reviews to optimise future performance.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers to drive brand growth.
  • Partnerships: Manage the full partnership lifecycle to build pipeline, co-create joint campaigns, and represent the brand at industry gatherings.

Competencies & Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, & Experiences

  • Education (Essential): Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • B2B SaaS Marketing (Essential): Minimum 3 years in a marketing management role, ideally within the software or technology sector.
  • UK Market Expertise (Essential): Proven track record of navigating the UK industry landscape, professional organisations, and regional event circuits (preferably Health and Safety related).
  • Commercial Acumen (Essential): An understanding of how marketing activities (specifically events and partnerships) directly impact the sales pipeline and ROI.
  • Operational Ownership (Essential): A "hands-on" approach to managing the full event and partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach to post-event analysis.
  • Adaptability & Presence (Essential): Must be willing to travel and be on-site for all sponsored and community events across the UK, with a valid UK Drivers Licence & validity to work in the UK.
  • End-to-End Partnership Management (Essential): Experience managing the lifecycle of strategic alliances, including co-branded marketing initiatives.
  • Event & Logistics Management (Essential): Proficiency in managing budgets, supplier contracts, and complex event timelines.
  • Performance Analytics (Essential): Skilled in tracking lead generation, engagement metrics, and CRM pipeline contribution (e.g. Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Content Production (Essential): Experience supporting multi-channel campaigns, including webinars, podcasts, and written collateral.
  • Content Management (Desirable): Experience with content management systems, knowledge base platforms, and collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence/Jira, Pendo, or similar).
