We are looking for a motivated and reliable
Vehicle Dismantler to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and a passion for the automotive industry.
The Dismantler is responsible for the safe and efficient dismantling of vehicles to recover reusable parts for resale, storage, or export.
This includes removing mechanical, electrical, and body components, ensuring parts are cleaned, accurately labelled, and stored appropriately.
The role also involves maintaining a safe, organised, and productive working environment in line with company and Health & Safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Experience in automotive dismantling, vehicle mechanics, or a related trade, with practical knowledge of car components and systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and workshop machinery in a safe and controlled manner.
- Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards, including safe handling of parts, fluids, and materials.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, work to productivity targets, and maintain high attention to detail when identifying and labelling parts.
- Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with yard, warehouse, and inventory staff.
- Basic computer or handheld device skills for updating stock records and part information are advantageous.
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
