About the Role
We’re hiring our first Value Engineer to join the Solution Consulting team within EcoOnline’s Revenue organisation. This brand-new global role sits at the heart of our strategic growth plans, partnering with Sales and Success to articulate the measurable value of our EHS, Chemical Safety and ESG solutions. Your focus will be to help prospects and customers clearly quantify value and outcomes, build compelling business cases, and support executive decision‑making in key sales cycles. Alongside your work in the field to build and present a case for investment, a key part of the role will be to create and maintain collateral to support the sales teams when you are not engaged. This is a hybrid role based in one of our UK offices (London, Liverpool, or Edinburgh).
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospects and customers to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and business and personal value drivers.
- Lead value workshops to scope and present value and outcome‑based business cases.
- Partner with Sales and Solution Consulting to shape value strategy in key deals and bids.
- Define and support the end‑to‑end value lifecycle from value articulation through to value realization.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable value content and assets.
- Deliver enablement to our revenue teams on key value concepts and business case creation to drive best practice.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to strengthen value messaging across the entire buyer journey.
What we’re looking for
Ideally you will have 3-5 years of experience in value consulting, or a similar role. Excellent customer facing skills with an ability to build trust, credibility and influence. Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of value‑based sales methodologies. Financial modelling and benchmarking skills to support business cases and investment. Experience in EHS, Chemical Safety or ESG is advantageous but not essential.
