About the Role
Reporting to the BDR Manager, the ideal Business Development Representative will be responsible for uncovering the needs of prospects and generating interest in the EcoOnline offerings by leveraging our cold prospecting playbooks, building targeted lists and replying to time-sensitive inbound leads created by our marketing team. Ultimately, deliver qualified opportunities to the team of Account Executives you will be working with closely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify marketing-generated leads based on specific guidelines and criteria
- Building pipeline by employing our cold prospecting playbook
- Practice pipeline management and follow up skills
- Leverage social media channels to engage prospects
- Work as a bridge between the Sales & Marketing Teams
- Establish value and schedule virtual & on-site client meetings for Sales Team
What we're looking for:
- Confidence & excitement about the opportunity to learn our cold calling playbook and create new opportunities from your own hunting and research
- Self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, schedule and follow through
- Strong capacity to learn, be coached and communicate both internally with teammates and externally with prospects
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
- Highly proficient level of computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- CRM experience (preferably Salesforce is a plus)
- Must be team oriented with a hunger for growth and professional/personal development
- Industry, Customer Service or previous Business Development experience considered a definite asset
- Strong intercommunication and people skills
