About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career growth within a dynamic finance environment. The role sits within our finance team, with responsibility for accounting across our Nordic entities and contributing to the group’s monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, coding, AP system management, liaising with external accounting firms.
- Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments in line with payment terms and internal controls.
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies and queries.
- Support month-end and year-end close, including AP accruals and reconciliations.
- Assist with tax and statutory requirements related to AP (e.g. VAT, withholding tax where applicable).
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and system enhancements within financial operations.
- Ad hoc support for billing and customer queries, as well as audits by preparing documentation and reports.
What we’re looking for
A detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Brings a solid understanding of accounting principles, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) is an advantage. Fluent in English, with Scandinavian language skills considered a plus. Ideally holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience), with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
