CDL-London at Imperial College London is Creative Destruction Lab’s newest international hub, dedicated to transforming cutting‑edge research into scalable, high‑impact ventures. Building on the success of CDL’s global programmes, the Healthcare Robotics stream brings together world‑leading researchers, founders, investors and industry experts to accelerate the development and deployment of breakthrough technologies at the intersection of healthcare and robotics.

As Venture Manager, you will support the end‑to‑end delivery of the CDL Healthcare Robotics programme, from sourcing and selecting high‑potential ventures to managing their progress through the programme. You will work closely with founders, clinicians, academics, investors and industry partners, coordinating programme activities, supporting venture development, and ensuring a high‑quality experience for all stakeholders. Alongside this, you will monitor performance through key metrics, analyse data to inform decision‑making, contribute to communications and outreach, and identify opportunities to continuously improve and grow the programme.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working in innovation, entrepreneurship, or accelerator programmes, ideally with deep‑tech or healthcare exposure
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and support early‑stage ventures or founders
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience in complex environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with founders, academics, clinicians, and investors
  • Analytical capability to interpret data, monitor performance, and inform decision‑making
  • An understanding of the STEM, healthcare, or robotics innovation landscape (desirable)
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
