The School of Modern Languages and the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies seek suitably qualified applicants for the position of Network Coordinator & Post-Doctoral Research Assistant for the German Screen Studies Network (GSSN). The successful applicant will:

  • Provide administrative support for the GSSN’s academic leads and help plan, promote and deliver Network events and communications.
  • Assist with establishing and managing a new peer‑reviewed journal, German Screen Studies, to begin publication with Berghahn in 2027.
  • Edit a special issue of German Screen Studies departing from their research expertise.

This position is offered as a 0.3 FTE post (around 11 hours each week) for a fixed‑term of twelve months. Salary: £38,784 pro rata, per annum.
