Built on direct engagement with industry through consultancy and knowledge transfer, along with a strong research environment, our School offers both BEng and MEng programmes in mechanical, aeronautical, electrical and electronic engineering, mechatronics and robotics. We also offer a portfolio of MSc programmes in related fields.

Our School is proud of our extra-curricular activities that include a vibrant, practical electronics club and participation in Engineers Without Borders UK. Our students also compete in international competitions such as the IMechE Formula Student, Railway Challenge and UAS Challenge, where they gain real-world, practical, team-based skills. This exposure to industry standards leads to outstanding career prospects for our graduates.

You will lead, develop and teach modules on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and contribute to relevant programme management. You will also contribute to the School’s research activities and external income generation.

You will hold a PhD in electronic engineering or in a closely related discipline. You will have experience in teaching robotics and AI at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will also have wide subject knowledge, strong programming ability, and hands-on experience designing and implementing robotic systems, alongside a strong track record of high-quality research in robotics and AI.
