Role and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the teaching, learning, assessment and research in Social Work.
- Plan and deliver teaching to students and undertake module leadership and other programme responsibilities.
- Undertake tutorial responsibilities, including placement visits, and provide dissertation supervision.
- Contribute to teaching and research across the School, Faculty, University and with external partners where appropriate.
- Have a primary input into the social work undergraduate and postgraduate provision and work with stakeholder partners.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Proven academic expertise, able to teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate modules, and significant practice experience in Social Work.
- Postgraduate qualification in Social Work and be a registered social worker with Social Work England.
- Expertise in Adult Social Work (Law) is desirable.
- Knowledge of contemporary developments in social work and awareness of developments in the social care field.
- Experience of working in partnership with health and social care organisations.
- DBS check may be required as part of recruitment.
