Université Paris Dauphine – PSL, London campus seeks to recruit a Lecturer in Insurance to teach the Insurance module for students on its interdisciplinary Bachelor in Economics and Management programme as of February 2026. The post could be filled by one applicant teaching one group only. Université Paris Dauphine – PSL is a leading French university, and its Finance and Business Management programmes are amongst the most prestigious and challenging in the world. Main duties and responsibilities:
- To teach Insurance at undergraduate level for Year 3 students in Applied Economics and Finance (18 hours per semester).
- To hold office hours as required.
- To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
- To coordinate with the head of module in Dauphine Paris and the London-based Academic Lead and Undergraduate Programmes Director.
- To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
Person specification:
- Excellent subject knowledge.
- Research experience or equivalent professional experience in a relevant area.
- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level desirable.
- PhD is desirable.
Skills and aptitude:
- Evidence of ability to teach and to supervise academic work in an international environment.
- Very good spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Good planning and organisation skills.
