Graduate Teaching Assistant / Teaching Fellow
The contract is a fixed term. Contact hours are paid at a multiplier of 2.5 basic hours for group teaching, covering preparation, classroom delivery, and administration. The multiplier amounts to £56.96 / £67.49 per hour (basic hourly rate starts from £23.46 per hour, inclusive of London Allowance). Marking is paid at the basic hourly rate using plain time hours.
Location: Bloomsbury, London. Hours: hourly paid – dependent on hours worked.

About the Role
Graduate Teaching Assistants/Teaching Fellows will cover tutorial teaching for the following modules. Candidates should have specialist knowledge in the discipline(s) related to the contracted module, be able to design and develop lessons, deliver engaging teaching to undergraduate or postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds, and demonstrate strong time‑management skills to plan work independently and meet deadlines.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK or have limited leave to remain in the UK, with the associated right to work for the duration of their employment with SOAS, in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Salary: £23 to £67 per hour (Grade 6).
