Newnham College, Cambridge invites applications from women graduates of any university for a Research Fellowship in any field of Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Psychology.
The Fellowship is tenable for three years from 1 October 2027 and is not renewable or extendable.
The College welcomes applications from women of diverse nationalities and socio-economic backgrounds.
Applications are particularly welcomed from those who identify as being from Black, Asian or other minority ethnic groups.
Stipend: £38,784 (pay award pending)
Candidates are advised that a Research Fellowship is intended for a researcher early in their career.
Applicants must be a post-doctoral researcher who has been awarded their Ph D degree or a graduate student who has submitted their Ph D thesis by 31 August 2026.
Those submitting their thesis later than this date will not be considered.
The successful applicant will be expected to commit to starting their Fellowship on 1 October 2027.
Any request to defer the start date will only be granted for a maximum of three months.
