The National Neurosurgical Audit Programme Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for a Clinical Research Associate Position, with the opportunity to undertake a clinical PhD course focussed on data curation and analysis, service strategy and quality improvement initiatives
The Neurosurgical Research Group is embedded within the Department of Clinical Neurosciences University of Cambridge.
The Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS) has recently funding to support this three-year Clinical Research Position which will focus on a programme of research analysing and presenting data on all areas of neurosurgical practice in England's 24 neurosurgical units, covering 50,000 cases per year.
We are recruiting a Clinical Research Associate under the supervision of Professor Adel Helmy. The post-holder will have the opportunity to participate in the Neurosurgical NHS clinic at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
An Honorary Clinical Contract will be made with CUH NHS Foundation Trust, for which a DBS check will be required.
The post is available for 3 years. The successful applicant must have completed general medical training, hold MRCP or equivalent, and preferably be a registered medical practitioner permitted to practise in the UK or be willing to work towards this. We encourage applications from any medical specialty and from any career grade.
