You must be an HCPC registered dietitian with well-developed knowledge and an understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to contemporary practice. Ideally, you’ll be at the forefront of new ways of working in Health and Social Care, demonstrating care innovation and wide-ranging dietetic experience.
You will be involved in supporting the delivery of our MSc Dietetics and BSc (Hons) Dietetics- Degree Apprenticeship pre-registration courses. As a lecturer you will be able to inspire our students and make a valuable contribution to their learning experience whilst preparing them for contemporary dietetic practice.
This role will provide cover for our innovative Dietetics Degree Apprenticeship Course delivered online with national reach https://www.shu.ac.uk/study-here/higher-and-degree-apprenticeships/health-and-social-care/dietitian. This is an exciting opportunity to learn first-hand about apprenticeships and how through collaboration of work-based learning, block release to university and wide-ranging placement opportunities, we are widening access to dietetic careers at Sheffield Hallam University.
You will support teaching and learning across a range of modules, assessment, and feedback, supporting students’ academic and practice learning progression. You’ll have the ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with a range of backgrounds and to work collaboratively to enhance the student experience.
