The role as Lecturer in Thermofluids (Computational Fluid Dynamics) involves delivering high-quality, inclusive and research-informed teaching in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and, in particular, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The responsibilities include:

  • Developing students’ simulation, modelling and engineering analysis skills using industry-standard CFD tools.
  • Curriculum development, assessment and project supervision.
  • Supporting student success and employability through applied and industry-relevant learning.
  • Undertaking scholarship, research, innovation and knowledge exchange activities in CFD and thermofluid engineering.
  • Producing high-quality outputs and developing external partnerships.
  • Contributing to the advancement of digital engineering solutions for complex flow, thermal and energy systems.
