The University of Edinburgh is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Superconducting Aircraft Propulsion Motors to join a Horizon Europe consortium led by Dr Hongye Zhang. This 24-month, full-time role (35 hours per week) will contribute to developing superconducting motor windings for electric aircraft.
You will conduct multiphysics modelling, design, testing and evaluation, collaborate with EU/UK partners, and help prepare technical reports, publications and presentations.
