The University of Warwick’s Department of Sociology invites applications for a Research Fellow to work on the ERC-funded RAIDS project led by Professor Claire Blencowe. The role investigates how religion acts as soft power in mining struggles and involves engaging with mine-affected communities in Brazil.

The appointment is full-time for 24 months, commencing January 2027, with a six-month literature/ethics phase, followed by empirical research and outputs including journal articles and data
