PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Enhance performance and drive improvement in the Logistics department through identifying gaps, coaching in real-time, designing effective training solutions, facilitating learning, and measuring training impact. Conduct regular observations of day-to-day processes within the Logistics department to identify performance gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize a blended learning approach to determine appropriate training solutions for closing identified gaps, incorporating methods such as coaching, on-the-job learning, and formal training sessions.
  • Provide real-time coaching and structured feedback whenever possible to facilitate immediate improvement.
  • Design and develop learning materials, including one-point lessons or quick fix routines, based on identified learning needs, ensuring their relevance to the target group and applying adult learning principles.
  • Create a comprehensive training plan for the successful implementation of the blended learning solutions.
  • Develop pre- and post-assessments as well as evaluation forms to measure the impact of capability initiatives and learning interventions using the Kirkpatrick model, specifically focusing on Level 1 (reactionaries) and Level 2 (knowledge shift).
  • Manage logistical arrangements for learning interventions to ensure an effective learning environment.
  • Facilitate learning in a clear, coherent, and structured manner to maximize comprehension and retention.
  • Support and plan for change projects within the Logistics department to ensure the desired behaviour change is achieved.
  • Capture and record all training interventions and coaching sessions for future reference and evaluation purposes.
  • Measure and report on the return on investment (ROI) for Level 1 and Level 2 evaluations, with Level 2 assessments specifically for formal interventions.
  • Maintain an up-to-date learning plan, incorporating any necessary revisions or adjustments.
  • Provide monthly reports on all conducted training sessions and planned future training initiatives.
