Job Purpose
To support the sales Account Management team in driving revenue across IT products, software, and services by providing administrative, operational, and customer support. The role ensures accurate processing of quotations, orders, coordination of technical solutions, and delivery of high-quality customer experiences within a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with preparation of IT quotations.
  • Process customer orders for hardware, software licenses, and managed services accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to customer enquiries regarding IT products, services, pricing, and delivery via phone and email.
  • Maintain and update customer records and opportunities within CRM systems.
  • Follow up on quotations, renewals (e.g., software licensing, support contracts), and active sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including pre-sales, engineering, and service delivery to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors and distributors to support procurement and pricing for IT solutions.
  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, forecasts, and performance data.
  • Assist with contract administration including SLAs, licensing agreements, and renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, data protection standards, and IT security policies.
  • Provide support to the New Business acquisition function by prospecting and transacting with SMB customers.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in internal sales, sales support, or customer service within an IT, technology, or digital services environment.
  • Basic understanding of IT solutions such as cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, and SaaS.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and ideally exposure to PSA/ERP tools.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in order processing and contract accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
  • Degree in Business, IT, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Cisco) are desirable.
