Econ Engineering Limited are the UK’s largest supplier of winter and highways maintenance vehicles. Due to the continued growth of our business, we are currently looking to recruit a Hire Administrator for our hire and service centre at Sowerby. This is a unique business model so a ‘can-do’ flexible approach is a must.

The successful applicant will work alongside the hire team and have responsibilities including:

  • Liaising with customers to create a job card for field engineers.
  • Inputting hire and proforma invoices and dealing with customer invoice queries.
  • Telephone and reception duties.
  • Printing calibration certificates/manuals/training packs.
  • Maintenance of all vehicle records.
  • Organise compliance documents to be sent to customers.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in data management and software systems: Familiarity with CRM systems or fleet management software to manage bookings, inventory, and customer details efficiently.
  • Strong organisational skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure all aspects of the hire process are handled smoothly.
  • Team collaboration: Ability to work closely with other departments, such as engineering, finance, and sales to ensure a seamless operation.
