Econ Engineering is the UK’s largest supplier of winter maintenance and highways vehicles. With 55 years of expertise, we are a leader in designing and manufacturing high‑quality vehicles that keep roads safe throughout the winter months.
Location: Ripon, England, United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
- Keep the outside spaces of the facility clean and tidy, with stock and vehicles assembled in an orderly fashion and emptying tipping skips from within the factory and yard spaces.
- Move chassis frames around the facility to facilitate the requirements of the various departments.
- Receive new chassis from suppliers and perform vehicle receipt inspection records ensuring chassis are not damaged prior to delivery and park in a fashion that suits the production program.
- Load and unload outside haulier delivery vehicles as and when required, helping with On Board Weighing calibrations and other production requirements.
Qualifications:
- Independent self‑starter able to work under own initiative and manage time and tasks accordingly, prioritising as needed.
- Proficient in the use of a JCB Telehandler.
- Hold a current HGV Class 2 driving licence.
- Experience in stock or vehicle handling is desirable.
