We don't operate as a traditional agency; instead, we utilise our proprietary data platform, industry-leading experience, and bespoke global infrastructure to provide embedded insight and support across all functions. This enables us to deliver faster targeted growth at a reduced risk with improved financials for our eCommerce partners and clients.
The Head of eCommerce will own the strategic and commercial relationship across a portfolio of retained client accounts. You'll be the senior operator clients turn to for trading direction, growth planning, and cross-channel orchestration. You'll lead an eCommerce Manager and work alongside specialist channel leads (CRM, Paid, SEO, Dev, Strategy).
Key Responsibilities:- Client Leadership
- Own senior relationships across 6β7 retainer accounts
- Lead weekly trading calls, monthly reviews & quarterly business reviews
- Translate client goals into integrated, cross-channel strategies
- Identify and convert account growth opportunities
- Own trading cadence (reporting, forecasting, promos, peak trading)
- Drive core KPIs: revenue, AOV, CVR, margin & retention
- Build forecasts, models & performance frameworks per account
- Deliver consistent, insight-led reporting across all clients
- Coordinate CRM, paid media, SEO, CRO & development teams
- Ensure all output is commercially aligned and client-ready
- Brief creative, site & CRM work with clear performance focus
- Identify funnel opportunities, risks & optimisation priorities
- Manage and develop an eCommerce Manager
- Set standards, quality bar & ways of working across accounts
- Contribute to wider agency best practice
- Drive organic growth within existing accounts
- Support new business pitches & onboarding
- Contribute to service development & commercial strategy
- 6+ years in eCommerce, ideally have spent the last 3 years in a senior client-facing or trading lead role. Agency, multi-brand DTC, or eCommerce consultancy background strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial fluency: comfortable with P&Ls, contribution margin, LTV, CAC, payback, and forecasting.
- Working knowledge across all major channels: CRM (ideally Klaviyo & Attentive), paid social, paid search, SEO, CRO, and Shopify/BigCommerce.
- Demonstrable track record of growing accounts and managing senior client stakeholders.
- Comfortable in data: GA4, Looker, Shopify analytics, Klaviyo, Meta and Google Ads platforms. Bonus: SQL, BigQuery, Windsor.ai, or similar.
- Confident running trading calls, QBRs, and senior client conversations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
