We are looking for a high-performance Shopify Developer to join the Ecomlanders team on a project-by-project basis. We need a technical expert who understands the intersection of clean code and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
You will be responsible for building scalable, responsive Shopify storefronts engineered to increase CVR, AOV, and RPV.
Key Requirements- 3+ Years of Shopify Experience: Deep expertise in Liquid, Shopify’s APIs, and theme architecture.
- Performance Engineering: A proven track record of building lightning-fast, mobile-first responsive sites.
- Growth Mindset: You understand how development impacts business metrics like Average Order Value and Revenue Per Visitor.
- Communication: Fluent English is a must. You must be available to collaborate during UK Business Hours (9 AM – 5 PM GMT).
- Collaborative Spirit: You follow industry best practices and are keen to become a long-term part of a professional team.
- Initial Review: Portfolio and experience check.
- Technical Task: Shortlisted candidates will complete a hands-on technical task to be reviewed by our Head of Development to assess code quality, logic, and Shopify-specific knowledge.
- Develop custom Shopify themes and high-converting landing pages.
- Implement features designed to boost AOV (upsells, bundles) and CVR (speed optimization, UX tweaks).
- Ensure 100% responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Work remotely with the team to turn design mockups into high-converting realities.
- Role: Freelance / Project-based pricing.
