The purpose of the role is to install, maintain, repair, and fault‑find across Ecolution Group’s portfolio of electrical and renewable energy systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety policies, carrying out risk assessments and working safely in occupied and unoccupied client properties.
- Perform scheduled planned maintenance and immediate reactive repairs on a variety of electrical technologies, including Solar PV systems, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), and EV Charging points, amongst others.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults promptly and efficiently across various installations and client properties.
- Execute system swap‑outs and replacement works for failed electrical systems and components.
- Generate detailed write‑ups and technical assessments following any job where further work is required, to enable the Operations Team to prepare accurate quotes and proposals for follow‑on works.
- Ensure all works are carried out in strict accordance with the BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), relevant industry standards, and company health and safety procedures.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including job sheets, inspection reports, and electrical test certificates.
Skills to Demonstrate
- Expertise in electrical fault-finding and diagnostics on systems.
- Practical experience with low-carbon and renewable technologies is highly desirable but not essential.
