We’re looking for a talented Project Estimator to join a growing renewable energy business delivering cutting edge solutions across commercial, domestic, and industrial sectors. What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical and plumbing works
- Analysing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Managing the full estimating process from enquiry through to submission
- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Supporting the preparation of high-quality, compliant tender submissions
- Producing material take-offs and labour costings with precision
- Ensuring all estimates align with current regulations and industry standards
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Project Estimator role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of contracts
- Confidence working with financial data and cost modelling
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
- Solid IT skills (Excel and estimating software preferred)
- HNC, HND, or NVQ Level 3 in an MEP-related discipline
