The purpose of the role is to install, maintain, repair, and fault‑find across Ecolution Group’s portfolio of specialised mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems, including MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery), MEV (Mechanical Extract Ventilation), and PIV (Positive Input Ventilation), ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety policies, carrying out risk assessments and working safely in occupied and unoccupied client properties.
- Perform scheduled planned maintenance, deep cleans, filter replacement, reactive services, and diagnostics across all Mechanical Ventilation technologies covered by the role.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and control faults within ventilation units and associated ducting promptly and efficiently.
- Execute full unit swap‑outs for failed ventilation systems and upgrade obsolete components.
- Carry out system commissioning and performance testing (e.g., airflow testing) to ensure compliance with building regulations and design specifications.
- Generate detailed write‑ups and technical assessments following any job where further work is required, to enable the Operations Team to prepare accurate quotes and proposals for follow‑on works.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including job sheets, service reports, and compliance certificates.
- Interact professionally with clients and tenants, explaining technical work in clear terms.
