Envirolab, a member of RSK Group, have an opportunity for an experienced Van Driver to join their team based in Hyde, Greater Manchester, UK.
Key responsibilities:- Delivering sample containers and collecting samples to and from offices and site
- Compiling sample containers to meet client requests
- Planning delivery/collection routes in association with the Client Services and Admin Supervisor
- Liaising with the Client Services and Admin Supervisor to advise on any problems meeting agreed routes, within the confines of the Driving Policy
- Maintaining a minimum stock of sample containers in vehicles
- Delivering an efficient and courteous service to clients, ensuring that appropriate PPE is worn at all times
- When delivery and collection duties are light assist in the laboratory where necessary
- Work within the confines of Envirolab’s safety policy paying due regard to the requirements for protective clothing at all times
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the laboratory
- Carry out regular SHEMS inspections
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
- Previous experience driving a long wheel base van
- Salary £26,437 dependant on experience
