The Role: We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Manager to take ownership of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running, maintenance, and improvement of the school’s digital environment, ensuring systems are secure, effective, and aligned with the school’s needs and priorities. Working under the direction of the CFO, you will be expected to implement solutions, respond to user needs, and manage systems with professionalism and clarity. You will supervise one on-site IT technician and collaborate closely with our operational teams, as well as the IT teams of our sister campuses in Paris and Lille.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the school\\\'s IT operations: infrastructure, cloud services, security, devices, and digital platforms
  • Ensure performance and reliability of our network (Meraki), devices (Apple, managed with Jamf), and platforms (Google Workspace, Eduka, Pronote, Papercut, ContentKeeper)
  • Provide responsive, friendly user support for staff and pupils
  • Maintain strong data protection and cybersecurity practices
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and propose clear, costed implementation plans for review and approval by leadership
  • Maintain documentation, track IT assets, and oversee procurement and licensing
  • Liaise with IT teams at our sister schools to support shared systems and strategy

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in managing IT systems in a multi-user or multi-site organisation
  • Good technical expertise in Google Workspace
  • Apple environments and Jamf Pro (or equivalent MDM)
  • Network management (Meraki or similar)
  • Confident troubleshooting and support skills, with a service-oriented mindset
  • Understanding of data security and system administration best practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow through

It would be a plus if you also have

  • Experience working in schools or education settings
  • Some understanding of French (helpful for liaising with Paris/Lille campuses)
