L'École Française de Bristol’s mission is to offer an excellent education provided by qualified and experienced French-speaking teachers and teaching assistants. We are recruiting an experienced French GCSE teacher for a class of bilingual pupils (Year 7+) to join our experienced team at L’Ecole Française de Bristol/Bristol French School.

Key information:

  • Location: Bristol BS10
  • Start date: April or May
  • Contract: Fixed-term, term-time (27 Saturdays per annum)
  • Hours: Saturday 9.30 am until 11.30 am
  • Pay/Holiday pay: £31.25 per hour plus holiday pay 14%
  • Paid PPA and Liaison time with parents: 1-hour allowance per session (50% of teaching time)
  • Staff discount: 10% off our fees for your children and free primary classes’ wraparound care for your children

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

  • French to native speaker standard is required, together with experience teaching the French GCSE programme.
  • For the PGCE/QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), a copy of the UK certificate will be required.

Training: Essential training will be provided (e.g. safeguarding, health and safety etc.)
