Ecolab is seeking a remote Field based Technical Support Specialist to join its Food & Beverage team. Ideally residence in Southeast UK, in the Southwest area of London. Ecolab is a global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, providing cleaning and sanitation solutions to food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments through a dual focus on sales and technical service/consultation to new and existing customers.

As a Field Support Specialist, you will:

  • Design and conduct relevant technical self-initiated studies.
  • Make project recommendations based on findings.
  • Apply a broad base of scientific and engineering principles to your work.
  • Provide technical support to customers including product optimisations.

Working knowledge of industrial CIP systems and related automation linked to plant hygiene and cleaning practices is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct technical studies and provide project recommendations based on findings.
  • Apply scientific and engineering principles to technical support tasks and customer interactions.
  • Provide technical support to customers and offer product optimisations.
  • Work with CIP systems and related automation tied to plant hygiene and cleaning practices.
  • Travel to visit customers to deliver value-added service (approximately 4–5 days per week).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in Distillery / Brewery sector.
  • Related experience in a technical support role in Food safety.
  • Knowledge of hygiene processes and CIP systems in the Distilling/Brewing industry.
  • Equipment tech expertise with digital solutions such as CIP & COP, 3DT CIP, MCI, and a value-added mindset.
  • Highly self-driven and motivated to work with the Food & Beverage Industry.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Power BI.
  • Digital apps.

Location and Travel:

Location: Southeast UK, in the Southwest area of London, 50–70 km within that region. This role requires traveling to visit customers to deliver value-added service (4–5 days per week). Full UK driving license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record are required.
