Key Responsibilities
- Installation
- Install chemical dosing systems across institutional applications, including laundry equipment, dishwashers, and associated ancillary dosing units, in line with approved method statements and safety requirements.
- Carry out electrical connections, control wiring, and system integration in accordance with relevant electrical standards and site requirements.
- Commission dosing systems to ensure accurate, safe, and reliable chemical delivery.
- Verify correct operation of pumps, controllers, sensors, and safety devices prior to handover.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve installation‑related faults, including electrical, mechanical, and control issues.
- Provide technical input during complex or non‑standard installations.
- Support the Institutional Field Team with technical expertise during customer visits or escalations.
- Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Work in full compliance with company safety policies, PPE requirements, and local regulations.
- Complete risk assessments and method statements where required.
- Ensure installations meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.
- Collaboration & Planning
- Work closely with the Institutional Field Team to coordinate installations and support customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Deployment Planning Team to ensure installations are scheduled, resourced, and executed effectively.
- Provide feedback to planning and technical teams to support continuous improvement in equipment design and deployment processes.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately complete installation records, commissioning documentation, and system handover information.
- Report installation progress, issues, and completion status to the Institutional District Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of installed equipment and configurations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in installing technical equipment in field‑based or customer environments.
- Strong competence in electrical installations, including safe isolation, wiring, and fault‑finding.
- Experience working with pumps, dosing systems, or automated equipment.
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements in industrial or institutional settings.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
Position Details
Candidate must reside in North England/South Scotland (ideally near Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or York).
