We are seeking to hire a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join the team in the Baglan Plant, reporting to the plant Reliability Manager.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Comply with all SHE and Quality standards set at site.
  • Proactively address breakdowns that can occur on shift.
  • Ensure that quality finished product is being produced by completing PPMs on equipment.
  • Manage workload and prioritise work using CMMS system.
  • Support key functions to achieve production targets.
  • Problem solving and implementing improvements via breakdown analysis.
  • Active participation in TPM activities and be a key member of PM pillar.
  • Adhere to all procedures in place and show discipline with hygiene and cleanroom standards.
  • Maintain site housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Understand the importance of process safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Rotation shifts (Mornings 06:00-14:00, Afternoons 14:00-22:00 & Nights 22:00-06:00).
  • Set a great example for everyone by maintaining the highest standards of operational discipline, through mentoring operators, cleaning inspection and lubrication activities, and proactively improve the machines to eliminate contamination sources.
  • Maintain and repair equipment within a GMP cleanroom manufacturing facility.
  • Work with and support T1s and T2s in order to achieve production targets with good quality finished products.
  • Manage small installation projects and work efficiently with the Reliability Manager to ensure projects are completed within set timeframe.
  • Accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrate a good technical understanding of Electrical and Mechanical principles.
