Responsibilities
- Understand and consistently comply with all safety, health and environmental standards (behavioural and machine) on site and in your own work area.
- Fully run all operations in the allocated area to deliver the agreed production plan and achieve KPI targets while complying with all standard operating procedures.
- Accurately record, track and monitor all relevant operational performance data, taking timely corrective actions or escalating if required.
- Participate in operational improvement initiatives and use core TPM methodologies to help identify losses and eliminate them through root‑cause analysis.
- Complete routine basic maintenance tasks (TPM AM steps 1‑3) and changeovers to maximise machine running times, escalating non‑standard equipment conditions.
- Support the team by identifying improvement opportunities and raising issues to the local leadership team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial experience in a production environment where you have demonstrated the above skills or a relevant mechanical, electrical, process or chemical qualification and good understanding of TPM and experience in using basic associated tools and techniques.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy, as well as communication skills in the local language necessary to perform effectively.
- Ability to complete logs, worksheets and record information (including graphically) clearly and legibly.
- Ability to effectively express yourself to colleagues at all levels to explain work situations and issues and to understand both written and verbal instructions.
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to use e‑mail, and manage all processes and procedures through electronic systems.
- Demonstrated capability of working in a production environment that requires a disciplined, ordered approach with careful attention to standards of work and personal behaviour.
- Relevant experience in Assistant Process Operator role within Ecolab.
- Good understanding of TPM and use of basic associated tools and techniques.
