We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Global High Tech (GHT) team and lead the execution of complex industrial water treatment projects for high-tech industries. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of projects from initial definition through commissioning and start-up, maintaining a strong focus on scope, schedule, budget, quality and customer satisfaction.

Objectives

  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and consultants, as well as erection and safety coordinators.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and elevate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
  • Track and monitor performance of Projects in execution, assuring adherence to KPIs such as time, quality and cost.
  • Assure correct handover of information to MO Team.

Profile And Required Skills

  • Education: Mechanical / Civil / Chemical Engineering Master Degree.
  • More than 10 years experience in managing project Erection, Construction, Commissioning and start-up.
  • Proven experience in managing projects that involve civil works.
  • Proven experience managing, reviewing and validating main Engineering documents necessary to develop water treatment plants such as P&ID, PFD, mass balance, Piping Drawings, Isometrics, wiring diagram, Logic Diagram, Control Narrative.
  • Proven experience managing and coordinating work groups and resources.
  • Communication skills: English & French fluent written and verbal.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be aware of Safety & Environmental aspects of legislation in Europe as well as CE certification requirements.
  • Be aware of main ISO Quality Assurance Requirements.
  • Familiar with specific tools for project management (Ms Projects or equivalent).
  • Synthesis and pragmatic approach.
  • Agile mindset able to approach multidisciplinary topics.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
