Current Opportunity
We are seeking for a Global Portfolio Marketing Manager (f/m/d) to build, drive and execute the portfolio strategy of cleaning and disinfection (CIP-COP) solutions targeting the pharmaceutical manufacturers. This position will report to the Global Marketing Lead for Cleanroom Contamination Control. The role can be based in UK, France, Spain, or Germany.
Main Responsibilities
- Own, manage and develop a full portfolio of compelling solutions to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Develop the Marketing Plan for your portfolio, with a global view, and ensure the execution.
- Support Segment strategies and drive product launches including among others, product-level forecasting, product availability in collaboration with Supply Chain and R&D, messaging.
- Develop in-depth customer, competitive, and market knowledge.
- Communicate business insights, market needs and opportunities to develop short-term and long-term new product development strategies.
- Drive Best-in-Class strategy with our Personal Care customers, collaborating across Ecolab to accelerate TVD and best-in-class sell.
- Support development of innovation pipeline for future growth (near term and long-term projects) in response to customer needs, competitive offerings and changes in market and business priorities.
- Leverage strong project management skillset to lead successfully strategic projects (including product development, regulatory driven projects) and facilitate cross-functional communication.
- Collaborate with the System Implementation Team, Supply Chain and Planning to manage product reference modifications, phase-in and phase-out and organize internal & external communication.
- Develop with Marcom the general product communication plan, develop the messaging and enable the sales team.
- Train Corporate Account and Field Sales Team on product and product-related topics.
- Participate in ongoing customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results.
- Organize and execute detailed and up-to date competitive intelligence.
- Analyse data from multiple channels, develop and track success metrics for your portfolio in collaboration with your counterparts in the Portfolio Team and Finance.
Qualifications And Skills
- Post-graduate degree in Marketing or in science (chemistry, microbiology).
- 8+ years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry managing a portfolio.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturers and experience with their corporate or plant level decision makers.
- Strong project management skillset and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and data analysis.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Digital Tools.
- European/Global experience in highly regulated markets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Experience in developing content and presenting to sales teams and divisional management.
- Efficiency in reporting and synthetizing information from different sources.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results.
