Ecolab's integrated commercial bird control services deliver state-of-the-art products, techniques and technology to deter birds from causing H&S issues at customer locations. Our Bird Control Specialist will consult with customers to identify problem areas and find the best bird deterrent options available and gain agreement to proceed with works to solve the issues. These are sold as jobs and are short-term works carried out by our teams that mostly take between 1 and 3 weeks to complete. We have a team of planners that organise each job by booking the required labour, materials, permits and access equipment to arrive seamlessly in order the job can be done right first time. Due to the growing demand, we are looking for people to join our already successful planning team.
What will a successful planner do at Ecolab?
- Processing of Jobs onto the system
- Ensuring paperwork is all accurate including RAMs
- Liaise with customers β check availability and agree a slot to complete works
- Book/Order access equipment and arrange any needed permits
- Communicate with the teams that will carry out the work β ensure all documentation is sent and teams know where they need to be and at what time
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure all equipment/materials are ordered and delivered to site/stores on time
- Raise/Amend purchase orders
- Support by checking jobs against schedule and job completion reports and submitted on time
- Work closely with the District Manager and Head of Specialty to resolve any issues you may come across and understanding of revenue
- Working closely with Sales Development Team with incoming Sales and managing expectations
- Dealing with queries and complaints/Call backs
- Liaising with Customer Services interdepartmental
- Specialty Team incoming calls
- Working to a tight deadline and last minute requests
- Managing client expectations
