About the Programme
This is a 12 month, structured development programme designed to prepare you for a future role as a Territory Manager. Starting from October 1st, 2026 you will be supported every step of the way through a combination of:
- Classroom and virtual learning
- On‑the‑job training and job shadowing
- Coaching from experienced colleagues
- Hands‑on experience with customers in real environments
From day one you’ll gain exposure to customer operations, learn how to diagnose challenges, and develop practical solutions that improve safety, hygiene and sustainability.
About the Division
Within the Water division (Nalco Water, an Ecolab company), Ecolab delivers water treatment, process and digital water management solutions to help customers improve operational performance, protect critical assets and advance sustainability goals. Our solutions support customers across industrial, manufacturing, food and beverage processing, power generation, energy, mining, data-centers and commercial facilities, from water intake through reuse and discharge.
What You Will Do:
After completing your training, you will take ownership of an established customer territory, becoming a trusted partner and technical advisor to your customers. You will provide expert guidance on water treatment, process optimisation and digital water management programs that help improve operational performance, protect critical assets and support safe, efficient and sustainable customer operations.
In this role you will:
- Build strong, trusted relationships with existing customers through regular service visits
- Learn how customers’ systems work, gaining hands-on experience with equipment, technologies and solutions used in their daily operations
- Support the installation, maintenance and safe use of equipment, helping customers keep their facilities fully operational
- Train and support customer teams, making sure they feel confident using Ecolab solutions
- Gradually develop the ability to spot improvement opportunities, deliver technical demonstrations and support the growth of your assigned territory
- Work closely with colleagues across different teams (Sales, Marketing Services, Customer Service) to deliver the best possible customer experience
- Contribute to Ecolab’s growth by supporting outreach activities and helping build our brand in your local market
What you’ll need?
We are interested in meeting individuals with diverse backgrounds. You may be a great fit if you:
- Have completed technical / scientific education (Ideally in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry)
- Are interested in building a career in technical, sales or service-related roles
- Are eager to learn, open to feedback and motivated to continuously develop new skills
- Have demonstrated problem solving skills and creative thinking
- Are comfortable adapting to new situations and challenges
- Have basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Hold a valid driver’s license, with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, and are open to traveling within your assigned district and occasionally nationwide
