EcoGrid Ltd is an SME business located on the Wirral and we are seeking a National Business Development Manager to help grow our range of brands and innovative products across the UK.
EcoGrid manufacture, import and distribute a range of construction and landscaping products throughout the UK and Ireland. We own several brands within the construction sector and distribute many others. Our product ranges are positioned at the higher end of the market, offering sustainable products, finishes and quality above standard alternatives.

Essential skills (non-negotiables):
- Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience selling construction and/or landscaping products
- Proven success in a sales environment
- Ability to meet sales targets with the ambition to exceed them
- Confidence to engage with customers via phone, online meetings and face-to-face visits
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Willingness to learn about existing products and identify opportunities for new product ranges
- Experience working with people across a range of roles and responsibilities
- Strong computer skills with attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
What is the role?
The position combines office-based sales activity with regular travel to visit customers nationwide, working closely with the wider team to grow sales across the UK.
Duties include:
- Working from the office 2-3 days per week to develop and manage customer relationships across the UK
- Visiting customers nationwide for meetings, site visits and relationship building (2-3 days per week)
- Generating your own leads and opportunities with support from the wider team
- Following up incoming leads from telephone, website enquiries and other platforms
- Maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers through phone calls, meetings, emails and online meetings
- Recording relevant information in the customer database to support ongoing sales activity
- Generating accurate quotations, processing orders and building repeat business
- Following up with clients to ensure continued growth and customer satisfaction
- Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets
